Important Used-Condition Notice

This is a used, ex-business laptop. It is not new or near-new unless specifically stated otherwise.

Each laptop is tested, cleaned and checked for major damage before sale. However, used laptops may have cosmetic or age-related imperfections including scratches, paint wear, scuffs, worn or shiny keys, marks from asset labels, battery wear and occasional minor screen imperfections such as dead or stuck pixels.

We will always attempt to highlight noticeable damage where possible, but minor imperfections may not be individually listed or clearly visible in the photographs. Please purchase on the understanding that the laptop may show slightly more wear than is visible in the listing photos.

Grades Explained

B Grade: battery health measured at 75% or above and cosmetic wear consistent with normal previous use.

C Grade: battery health measured below 75%, or more noticeable cosmetic wear or damage. Either automatically makes a unit Grade C — a C unit can have a strong battery, or clean looks, but not a shortfall in both.

Some units include a fingerprint reader — choose the option you want from the dropdown.

Select your Cosmetic Rating from the dropdown — B or C as defined above — along with your fingerprint reader option. Photos show representative examples of each grade.

Condition

Condition depends on the grade selected — see Grades Explained above.

• Cosmetic wear consistent with normal use.
• May have scratches, scuffs, worn keys, paint wear or minor screen imperfections.
• Battery health depends on the grade selected — see Grades Explained above.
• Please examine the photographs carefully for the overall cosmetic condition.
• Batteries are consumable parts; measured health is stated where available and is not covered by the condition grade.

Please note This device may have previously been used in a business or educational environment and may show signs of normal cosmetic wear associated with professional use. There may also be minor adhesive residue or slight marks where asset labels or inventory stickers were previously applied.

Operating System & Software

A fresh installation of Windows 11 is completed on every laptop, with no user account set up — the machine boots to Windows initial setup, ready for you to create your own account.

Because setup is not completed, device drivers are not installed and Windows Update has not been run. Windows will download most drivers automatically once connected to the internet.

Windows should activate automatically with a digital licence held by the hardware, although on older machines this cannot be guaranteed.

Where a laptop has special hardware, such as dedicated graphics or unusual driver requirements, we install the required drivers before dispatch.

The BIOS is reset to factory defaults with no passwords set.
