Overview

The Raymond Weil Toccata is the Geneva maker's classic thin dress watch. This one has a 39mm stainless steel case with rose gold PVD plating, a black dial with applied rose-gold baton markers and matching hands, and a date window at 3 o'clock. Swiss quartz movement, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and 50m water resistance. It is worn on a black croc-embossed leather strap with the signed Raymond Weil rose gold buckle.

The caseback is engraved 5488-X024661. It is running and keeping good time.

Condition

Pre-owned and in good working order. The case, dial and sapphire crystal all present very well with no cracks or chips. There are the usual light hairlines to the caseback from normal wear. The one honest flaw is the strap.

• Light hairline marks to the caseback from normal use.
• The leather strap is worn on the underside (staining and stretched buckle holes, see the last photos). Still wearable, but a fresh strap would smarten it up.
